IRM

The Fonctional neuroimaging unit is equiped with a MRI Siemens 3T Prisma fit. The MRI is located within the Institut Universitaire de Gériatrie (IUGM). Movement in and around the UNF facilities is therefore subject to safety and distancing instructions in order to best protect residents and employees.

Booking the MRI

The section for booking shows you step by step how to book the MRI.

Booking the MRI follows these rules:

  • Reservations must be for a minimum of 30 minutes
  • The duration of reservations increases in 15 minute increments
  • Installation time for MRI and control room and cleaning time should be taken into consideration when booking time slots.
  • Booking must be made during normal opening hours (i.e. Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
  • It is possible to book the MRI outside of these periods. Please read the hourly rate.

Access and security

L’accès à l’IRM est controlé par les opérateurs de l’IRM. Ce sont les seuls à pouvoir vous laisser entrer dans l’UNF. Vous n’aurez accès à l’IRM qu'àprès avoir participé à la formation sur la sécurité en environnement comprenant un haut champ magnétique. Cette formation est obligatoire.

Une fois l’IRM réservé, présentez vous le jour de votre acquisition à l’entrée de l’UNF. Vous ne serez autorisé à entrer que sous certaines conditions:

  • Les formulaires (réquisition IRM et dépistage) doivent avoir été remplis à l’avance

  • Le groupe précédent doit avoir quitté l’UNF

  • Vous devrez remplir un questionnaire relié à de possibles symptômes COVID-19

  • Nous prendrons votre température (lecture sans contact) afin de détecter de la fièvre potentielle

  • Vous devez vous présenter seul avec le participant

  • Vous devrez vous laver les mains avec le désinfectant à disposition

  • Vous devrez porter un masque de protection (fourni par l’UNF)
